Clinical comprehensive evaluation of Panlongqi Tablets in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis

Abstract：Objective:To conduct a comprehensive clinical evaluation of Panlongqi Tablets in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.Methods:Based on a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods such as evidence-based medicine,epidemiology,and pharmacoeconomics,the clinical value of Panlongqi Tablets was comprehensively evaluated from eight dimensions:safety,efficacy,economy,suitability,innovation,accessibility,quality assurance of drugs,and TCM characteristics.Results:For safety,no obvious acute or chronic toxicity was observed before the market launch of Panlongqi Tablets,and no serious adverse events occurred after its market launch.Meta-analysis showed that the adverse reaction rate of Panlongqi Tablets combined with Western medicine was lower than that of Western medicine alone in the treatment of RA,and the difference was not statistically significant(P=0.46).For effectiveness,Meta-analysis showed that the total effective rate of Panlongqi Tablets combined with Western medicine was higher than that of Western medicine alone in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis(RR=1.26,95%CI[1.14,1.39],Z=4.49,P<0.000 01),the VAS score after treatment was lower(MD=-1.74,95%CI[-2.58,-0.90],Z=4.06,P<0.000 1),and the DAS28 score after treatment was lower(MD=-0.98,95%CI[-1.26,-0.70],Z=6.81,P<0.000 01).For economy,cost-effectiveness analysis showed that the combination of Panlongqi Tablets and Western medicine was a more effective but more costly treatment option.For suitability,the instructions for Panlongqi Tablets are complete,and the storage conditions are simple.Questionnaire results indicated that it is suitable in terms of drug information,medication compliance,and drug use.For drug quality assurance,there have been no drug recalls of Panlongqi Tablets since its market launch.All inspection results have met national standards and the Chinese Pharmacopoeia,and the raw material sources are clear,stable,and sustainable.For innovation,the survey results showed that Panlongqi Tablets can meet clinical needs.Panlongqi Tablets are refined through modern scientific processes based on the characteristics of the disease,demonstrating theoretical and technological innovation.For accessibility,Panlongqi Tablets have a relatively low price level,good affordability for patients,and wide clinical application coverage.For TCM characteristics,Panlongqi Tablets originated from folk prescriptions and have been widely used to treat rheumatic bone diseases and listed as a recommended drug in seven clinical guidelines after market launch,demonstrating distinct characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine.Conclusion:The clinical value of Panlongqi Tablets in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis is high.This articel can provide evidence-based references for clinical medication and scientific decision-making.
