Abstract:Febrile neutropenia(FN)is a common hematological toxicity during tumor therapy, which seriously affects the course of therapy and increases the risk of death and economic burden.Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor(G-CSF)stimulates the production of mature, functional neutrophils and can be used to prevent FN,including short-acting recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor(rhG-CSF),long-acting pegylated recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor(PEG-rhG-CSF),and a new generation of long-acting recombinant human granulocyte colony stimulating factor-Fc fusion protein(rhG-CSF-Fc fusion protein).Although consensuses on the diagnosis and treatment of tumor chemoradiotherapy-related neutropenia have been published in China, there is still a lack of relevant consensus on the prevention of FN.In order to correctly assess the risk of FN in patients and promote clinical rational use of drugs, with reference to the consensus of the previous guidelines related to neutropenia and FN and the results of clinical research, the China Anti-Cancer Association Tumor Overall Evaluation Professional Committee issued the expert consensus on the clinical prevention of FN,which investigates the prevention pathway of FN,as well as the efficacy, safety, and economic value of the G-CSF and other drugs in the prevention of FN.This consensus was written to provide reference for the prevention of FN for Chinese oncologists. This consensus covers clinical guidance on rhG-CSF-Fc fusion protein, the latest approved novel therapeutic agent for G-CSF.
