Abstract:Objective:To conduct a systematic review and pharmacoeconomic evaluation to analyze the effectiveness, safety, and cost-effectiveness of compound calcium carbonate granules in the treatment of nutritional rickets, providing clinical recommendations for the treatment of this condition. Methods:A network Meta-analysis was performed to compare the effectiveness and safety of different treatment regimens, and a decision tree model was constructed for cost-effectiveness analysis. Results:The Meta-analysis indicated that compound calcium carbonate granules were superior to calcium carbonate D3 granules in terms of efficacy, relapse rate, and bone mineral density Z-scores,with no significant difference in safety.Pharmacoeconomic evaluation revealed that the incremental cost-effectiveness ratio(ICER)of compound calcium carbonate granules compared to calcium carbonate D3 granules was 4261.91 yuan per case, and 4244.73 yuan per case compared to pediatric calcium carbonate D3 granules.Sensitivity analysis results were consistent with the base-case analysis. Conclusion:Compound calcium carbonate granules demonstrate superior efficacy in treating nutritional rickets compared to calcium carbonate D3 granules, with comparable safety profiles.Furthermore, compound calcium carbonate granules are highly likely to be cost-effective for this indication.
