The current research status of the classic formula Sini Decoction in the treatment of chronic heart failure

Abstract：Sini Decoction originates from the"Treatise on Cold Damage"and is mainly used to treat"Shaoyin disease,pulse sinking,urgent warming,and suitable Sini Decoction".It is the main formula used by Zhang Zhongjing to treat Shaoyin yang deficiency,cold excess,and has the effects of warming the middle and dispersing cold,restoring yang and rescuing adversity.It can be widely used in the treatment of various cardiovascular diseases in clinical practice.This article reviews the clinical research and mechanism of action for Sini Decoction in the treatment of chronic heart failure.It was found in related studies that Sini Decoction has good therapeutic effects in the treatment of chronic heart failure.Its mechanism of action may be related to antioxidant stress,adjustment of intestinal microbiota,regulation of cell apoptosis,reduction of endoplasmic reticulum stress,inhibition of the renin angiotensin aldosterone system,regulation of myocardial energy metabolism,and inhibition of neuroendocrine factors,etc.This study provides theoretical basis and reference for the clinical application of Sini Decoction in the treatment of chronic heart failure.
