Abstract:Cancer-associated ischemic stroke(CAIS)has attracted increasing attention as a new subtype of stroke.Cancer-related prothrombotic states and treatment-related vascular toxicity elevate the risk of ischemic stroke in cancer patients, thereby posing unique challenges to the treatment and prognosis of these patients. However, the underlying mechanism between cancer and ischemic stroke is still unclear, and there is currently no unified diagnostic guideline, treatment, and prevention strategies. Therefore, this review comprehensively outlines the current research progress on the pathogenesis and biomarkers of CAIS,and explores personalized prevention and treatment strategies.
