Abstract:Neoantigens are specific peptide segments produced by genetic mutations in tumor cells. These peptides are recognized by the immune system through the MHC molecules present on the surface of tumor cells, making them ideal targets for tumor immunotherapy.Personalized cancer vaccines and adoptive T cell therapies based on neoantigens have shown great potential in the treatment of various cancers.Accurate prediction of neoantigens is crucial for successful implementation of these personalized therapies.Although a series of predictive processes and pipelines have been established, there is still a lack of widely recognized unified standards and specifications for the industry. This article provides a comprehensive review of neoantigens, predictive processes, and the current state of predictive pipelines, aiming to provide references for the CMC research of personalized therapies based on neoantigens in China.
