Research on the pathways of high-quality innovation configuration for traditional Chinese medicine enterprises driven by digital technology

Abstract：This study takes 56 listed traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)companies as the research subjects,utilizing the"Technology-Organization-Environment"theoretical framework and employing the fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis for empirical analysis.The findings reveal that no single condition constitutes a necessary condition for high-quality innovation in TCM enterprises.The integration of digital technology plays a significant guaranteeing role in achieving high-quality innovation.There are three paths for TCM enterprises to realize high-quality innovation,namely the technology-led and financial-supported,the technology and government-led and organization-driven,and the technology-organization-environment three-dimensional synergy.Under specific conditions,the enterprise's business scale and vertical salary gap achieve high-quality innovation through the equivalent substitution effect.There are two paths leading to non-high-quality innovation in TCM enterprises,which have an asymmetric relationship with the paths for achieving high-quality innovation.The conclusion provides the theoretical basis and practical enlightenment for improving innovation quality in TCM enterprises.
