Abstract:Objective:From the perspective of the Chinese health system, this study aims to evaluate the economy of nivolumab combined with gemcitabine and cisplatin chemotherapy compared with gemcitabine and cisplatin chemotherapy alone in the treatment of advanced urothelial carcinoma. Methods:Based on the clinical trial data of CheckMate-901,a three-state Markov model was constructed and a cost-utility analysis was applied to evaluate the economy.Single factor sensitivity analysis and probability sensitivity analysis were carried out on the relevant parameters involved in the model to test the robustness of the results. Results:Compared with the control group, for each additional quality-adjusted life year(QALY)obtained in the experimental group, the chemotherapy regimen of nivolumab combined with gemcitabine and cisplatin cost an additional 1612021.74 yuan. Conclusion:Navulizumab combined with gemcitabine and cisplatin chemotherapy has no economic advantage in the treatment of advanced urothelial carcinoma compared with chemotherapy alone.
