Abstract：Capivasertib(Truqap®,AZD5363)is a first in class AKT inhibitor used in combination with fulvestrant for the treatment of adult patients with HR+/HER2-advanced or metastatic breast cancer.It was approved by the FDA on November 27,2023.This article reviews the mechanism of action,pharmacodynamics,pharmacokinetics,drug interactions,clinical evaluation,and safety of capivasertib.
