Thoughts on pharmaceutical research of rabies vaccine for human use

Abstract：Rabies virus infection is characterized by neurotropism,and its fatality rate is almost 100％.Timely vaccination after exposure is an important means to prevent rabies.Human rabies vaccine has been on the market in China for many years,and it is widely used in China every year.In this paper,the basic considerations and common problems of pharmaceutical research in the process of product development of human rabies vaccine were discussed,in order to provide reference for pharmaceutical development,product quality control and evaluation of human rabies vaccine.
