Abstract：Traditional new drug research and development(R&D)has problems such as long period,high cost,and high failure rate.In order to overcome the above problems,organ-on-a-chip technology comes into being,which plays a huge role in the R&D of new drugs as an emerging frontier technology in recent years.This article focuses on the application of organ-on-a-chip in the R&D of new drugs and its potential applications in the field of nuclear drug R&D,and discusses the opportunities and challenges faced by organ-on-chip,so as to provide references for new drug R&D practitioners.
