Abstract：Sulbactam/dulobactam is a combination of sulbactam and dulobatam,both co-β-lactamase inhibitors.In May 2023,sulbactam/durlobactam was approved by FDA for use in patients at 18 years of age and older for the treatment of hospital-acquired bacterial pneumonia and ventilator-associated bacterial pneumonia caused by susceptible isolates of acinetobacter baumannii-calcoaceticus complex.This article provides a comprehensive review of the mechanism of action,in vitro antibacterial activity,pharmacokinetics,drug interactions,clinical efficacy,and safety profile of sulbactam/dulobactam.
