Compound fluid of Cortex Phellodendri retention enema effect on damp heat ulcerative proctitis and clinical observation on serum inflammatory factors

Abstract：Objective: The Compound fluid of Cortex Phellodendri retention enema to observe the clinical efficacy of mild to moderate ulcerative proctitis and effect on serum IL-6, IL-10. Methods: By randomized, positive drug control, single blind method, 63 cases of patients with ulcerative proctitis were divided into the treatment group (n = 31) and control group (n = 32), using fufanghuangbai liquid paint and salad Qin enema retention enema respectively. Before treatment and after 4 weeks of treatment, the clinical efficacy score and the levels of serum IL-6, IL-10 were detected. Results: The total efficiency of treatment group was 83. 9％, the total effective rate of control group was 87. 5％, and the effective rates of the two groups had no significant difference (P＞0. 05). Paint fufanghuangbai liquid for the treatment of ulcerative proctitis was effective significantly which is similar to mesalazine. The two groups can both reduce the level of IL-6 and increase the level of IL-10. The levels of IL-10 in treatment group was higher than that of the control group (P＜0. 01). Conclusion: Compound fluid of Cortex Phellodendri retention enema can effectively alleviate the symptoms of damp heat ulcerative proctitis, so it has good prospects for clinical application.
