Research progress on continuous production and process control technology of oral solid dosage forms

Abstract：The production mode of oral solid preparations is changing from traditional batch production to continuous production.The qualities of intermediates and end products produced through batch processes is assured by off-line testing,while the critical quality attributes (CQA) of continuously produced pharmaceuticals can be monitored in real time,and the application of process analysis technology (PAT) is the key to the quality of the products.The continuous manufacturing technology as the trend of the future drug manufacturing is being paid more and more attention,and the development of PAT will provide strong support for it being used in the industrial production of drugs.
