Abstract:Objective:To explore the inhibition effect of new-type silver nanoparticles (nAg-NPs) on the extended spectrum β-1actamase (ESBL)-producing klebsiella pneumoniae. Methods:Taking ESBL-producing pneumonia klebsiella as the research subject, the coating method was used to detect the sterilization effect, broth trace dilution method to measure the minimum bacteriostatic concentration (MIC),and electron microscopy to observe the action mechanism of nAg-NPs on ESBL-producing pneumonia klebsiella.Results:nAg-NPs of ≥0.5 g·mL-1 had 100% bactericidal effect on ESBL-producing pneumonia klebsiella;0.05 g·mL-1 of nAg-NPs also had obvious bactericidal effect;5 g· mL-1 of nAg-NPs had a distinct bactericidal effect on ESBL-producing pneumonia klebsiella at 5,15,30 and 60 min.nAg-NPs had an evident effect on the morphology of ESBL-producing pneumonia klebsiella as shown by the electron microscope observation.Conclusion:nAg-NPs has obvious effects on ESBL-producing pneumonia klebsiella and these results will provide an experimental basis for the further study and clinical application of nAg-NPs.
