Research progress on the effects of hypoproteinemia on voriconazole

Abstract：Voriconazole was one of the most important antifungal drugs.Because of its special nonlinear pharmacokinetic properties and more drug interactions,it is necessary to monitor the blood concentrations when use it.Voriconazole had a high protein binding rate,the reduce of human plasma protein levels can increase the free voriconazole concentration in plasma,and the process changes in vivo,resulting in unstable efficacy and increase of adverse reactions.It was also very necessary to monitor the concentrations of free drug in patients with hypoproteinemia.
