Abstract:Virus is a kind of pathogen with characterics of eplication, infectious, contagious and is a hazard to human health. Therefore, the development of safe and effective antiviral drugs is necessary.Oral delivery is the most convenient administration way, which has the advantages of low cost, good reproducibility and compliance,non-invasion and so on.However, many antiviral drugs show poor taste, poor instability in the gastrointestinal tract and low solubility in water. To solve these problems, technologies including masking taste, improving drug stability in gastrointestinal tract, improving vitro dissolution, promoting absorption and prolonging in vivo retention time were applied in recent years.Although the novel technologies can also bring adverse effects, toxicity problems, activity contributions and cost problems,it is believed that more and more novel strategies would be adopted with the technology development in the future.
