Research progress in tumor vascular targeting peptide GX1

Abstract：Cyclic 7-mer peptide GX1 (CGNSNPKSC) as a new modifier of antitumor drugs has the characteristic of specific tumor vascular targeting.Compared to traditional antitumor drugs,the targeting anti-tumor drugs modified by GX1 peptide can overcome the drawback of easy resistance,improve the drug targeting effect and increase the rate of tumor cell growth inhibition.In this article,the receptor identification,targeting effect of GX1,and drug carriers modified with GX1 were reviewed in order to provide a new idea of tumor targeted therapy.
