Abstract：In the drug research and development processes,the development of bio-pharmaceuticals based on peptides and proteins has attracted more and more attention of the pharmaceutical industry.With the advantages of high sensitivity,accuracy and specificity,LC-MS/MS has become the first choice for quantitative analysis of biological samples.But the peptide and protein drugs are easily adsorbed in all the steps in the process of sample preparation and detection.These will lead to sample losses and occurrence of carryover effects and result in great damages of linearity,accuracy and repeatability of LC-MS/MS quantitative analysis.References were reviewed in this paper on the causes of the carryover effects in the quantitative analysis of peptides and proteins,suitable methods to eliminate the effects,and the method validation.
