Synthesis of phenylpiracetam

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the synthetic technology of phenylpiracetam.Methods:The target compound was synthesized through addition,reduction,alkylation,and ammonolysis from ethyl cinnamate.Results:The reaction yield was up to 40.4％,and the product quality was qualified.Conclusion:This synthetic method has several advantages,such as reduced reaction steps,convenient operation,and the higher yield.It is a new method for the preparation of phenylpiracetam,a central nervous system drug.
