Abstract：With the implement of the Guideline on Clinical Investigation of Traditional Chinese Medicinal and Herbal Medicinal Products in the Treatment of Climacteric Syndrome in Women,the design of clinical research of traditional Chinese medicinal and herbal medicinal products has been greatly improved.However,in order to better evaluate the efficacy and safety of one drug,more points should be considered.For instance,the characteristic of the product should be regarded,and different designs such as stratified or respective design should be used according to the population of peri-menopausal and post-menopausal subjects.
