New research progresses of small molecule epidermal growth factor receptor inhibitors

Abstract：Lung cancer,which has received extensive attention,is one of the malignant tumors with the fastest-growing morbidity and mortality rate threatening human health and life.The epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase (TK) is closely associated with the tumor proliferation,adhesion,migration,and differentiation.As reported,the growth of tumor can be inhibited potently by inhibiting the activity of EGFR tyrosine kinase.In recent years,many drugs targeted to EGFR have been developed and achieved good results in cancer therapy.This review summarized the recent research progress in EGFR inhibitors.
