Abstract:Objective:To systematically evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Shenyi capsules as an adjuvant treatment for patients with non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC).Methods:After searching 11 electricdatabases,RCTs of Shenyi capsules for treatment for chronic renal insufficiency were all included. All trials were assessed according to the Cochrane Handbook 5.1 for Systematic Reviews of Intervention, and meta-analysis was conducted by RevMan 5.3 Software. If meta-analysis was not suitable, only descriptive analysis was conducted.Results:Thirty-five trials with 3 018 patients,1 559 in treatment group and 1 459 in control group, were included in the review.Shenyi capsules treatment groups were superior to the control groups in clinical efficiency, karnofsky (KPS) score, survival period and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF),et al.But for the expression of CD4 +/CD8 +,the effect of Shenyi capsules was not sure. Conclusion:According to the synthesis analysis based on the limited available clinical research data,Shenyi capsules has certain advantages in efficacy as an adjuvant treatment for patients with NSCLC.Due to the poor quality of the included trials,no solid conclusion can be drawn as for the effectiveness of Shenyi capsules.More well-designed and large-scale multi-center randomized controlled trials are required in the future.
