Progress in the study of docetaxel-loaded polymeric micelles

Abstract：Docetaxel (DTX),which is an effective broad-spectrum antitumor drug of the second generation taxanes,has been approved by FDA for the clinical treatment of ovarian cancer,breast cancer,etc.DTX-loaded polymeric micelles have become a new nanometer dosage form with bright development prospect because it has the characteristics of small particle size,targeting,and can increase the solubility of hydrophobic drugs,etc.This paper reviewed both the background and significance of DTX-loaded polymeric micelles,analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of different kinds of polymeric micelles,and introduced the progress of domestic research on DTX-loaded polymeric micelles and the insufficiency of the research.
