Abstract:Objective:To compare and analyze the typical polyacetylenes constituents from Atractylodis macrocephalae rhizome (baizhu) and Atractylodis lancea (cangzhu). Methods:An ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled with photo-diode array and high resolution mass spectrum (LTQ Orbitrap MS/MS) was applied to perform the study of the polyacetylenes constituents from baizhu and cangzhu.Results:11 and 19 polyacetylenes were identified in baizhu and cangzhu, respectively.Among them,7 polyacetylenes were contained both in baizhu and cangzhu, while the other 4 components in baizhu were differed from the left 12 components in cangzhu. Conclusion:Online LC-MS analysis technology can identify the main polyacetylenes constituents which were unstable and hard to purify from baizhu and cangzhu rapidly. The difference of the polyacetylenes constituents from baizhu and cangzhu can provide the evidence to distinguish them, and also help to explain why the two herbs have difference effects,as well as the promotion of their quality control standards.
