Abstract：In this article,through systematically analyzing the situation and the conception of approval of new traditional Chinese medicines,we discussed some issues of special concern on the research and development of new traditional Chinese medicines in details from the perspectives of pharmaceutics,pharmacology & toxicology,and clinical therapy,and concluded some strategies for the reference of researchers.
