Abstract：Pain is a common symptom of various diseases,which will bring a great burden to patients.Traditional Chinese medicine has been used to treat pain for a long time.It is proved to have great efficacy with low side effect,and has shown unique advantages.Researching traditional Chinese medicine and its compounds has great meaning on the development of Chinese medicine.The analgesic effects of traditional Chinese medicine,Chinese herbal compounds,and modern compound preparations were reviewed based on the recent studies from home and abroad.
