Comparison of biological characteristics of the prostatitis induced by drugs and chemical substances
Abstract：Prostatitis is a common disease in male urology department,whose etiology and pathogenesis remain unknown.Its occurrence,development,and relative mechanisms have attracted much attention.In this paper,we reviewed the research status of prostatitis induced by some drugs and chemical substances in domestic and foreign reports,which included pathologic manifestations,biological characteristics,and related mechanisms.This will not only provide a theoretical basis for the choice of animals when studying pharmacodynamics of prostatitis,but also contribute to further study the etiology and pathogenesis of prostatitis.
