Application of taste sensing systems in development of pharmaceutical formulation

Abstract：With the development of medicine,taste evaluation of taste-masked drug is increasingly important for pharmacists.The technology of electronic tongue as the integration with a variety of technical means,such as artificial intelligence and modern analysis,was widely used in areas,such as the development of new drugs,and preparation technology of process optimization.In this article,the classification of the electronic tongue,evaluation process,and characteristics were introduced,and its application in development of pharmaceutical formlation since 2010 was summarized in order to promote its application in pharmaceutical formulation,especially in the drugs for children.
