Preparation and quality evaluation of stemoninine orally disintegrating tablets

Abstract：Objective:To optimize the prescription and preparation procedures of stemoninine orally disintegrating tablets and to evaluate its quality.Methods:The tablets were prepared by direct power compressing method,and the prescription was optimized by single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment designs according to the disintegrating time in vitro.The drug dissolutions of stemoninine orally disintegrating tablets were measured with UV spectrophotometry and the content of stemoninine was determined with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).Results:The prepared tablets of stemoninine was disintegrated within 30 s in vitro.Stemoninine in the tablets was released about 95％ within 30 min and the content was steady.Conclusion:The preparation process is simple and practicable,which can be used to prepare stemoninine orally disintegrating tablets with satisfactory properties.
