Influence of formulation excipients and physical characteristics on lung deposition of dry powder inhalations
Abstract：The formulation factors, including physical characteristics of dry powder inhalations, excipients and dry powder inhalers, is very important in achieving adequate delivery of inhaled drug to lungs. Here dry pow-der inhalations are classified into following four types (carrier-free, drug-carrier, drug-additive and drug-carrier-ad-ditive) and analyzed.
