Effect of Bushenhuoxue decoction on ovarian dysfunction induced by repeated immobilization stress in rats

Abstract：Objective:To study the protective effect of Bushenhuoxue decoction on ovarian dysfunction induced by repeated immobilization stress in female rats.Methods:Repeated immobilization stress was used to induce ovarian dysfunction in female rats.The rats were orally administered with Bushenhuoxue decoction.The ovarian function was evaluated by detecting the levels of gonadal and other hormones.Results:Bushenhuoxue decoction remarkably increased the levels of E2(P < 0.05),INHB and FS(P < 0.05-0.01),and decreased the levels of ACTA in serum(P < 0.05) after repeated immobilization stress.Conclusion:Bushenhuoxue decoction exerts a protective effect on ovarian dysfunction induced by repeated immobilization stress in female rats.
