Abstract:Objective:To compare the safety and efficacy of domestic vancomycin hydrochloride(Laikexin~(R)) and import vancomyein hydrochloride(Vancocin~(R)) in the treatment of resistant gram-positive coccal infections. Methods:In a multiple center, randomized, controlled and opened clinical trial,61 patients were enrolled.Of them 31 patients were treated with Laikexin~(R),and 30 patients were treated with Vancocin~(R) at doses of 1.5~2 g Chinese Journal of New Drugs 2010,19(5)
per day intravenously for 7~14 days. Results:The clinical response rate and bacterial clearance rate were 83.3%
and 50% in Laikeixn~(R) group,and 72.4% and 66.7% in Vancocin~(R) group,respectively.The adverse reaction
rates were 25.8% and 13.3% in two groups, respectively. The response rates and adverse reaction rates had no
significant difference between two groups. Conclusion:In the treatment of resistant gram-positive eoeeal infections,
the efficacy and safety of Laikexin~(R) are equal to Vancocin~(R).
