Abstract：Cefotaxime,a third-generation cephalosporin,exerts excellent antimicrobial effect to drug-resistant pathogens when combined with a β-lactamase inhibitor.In this article,recent reports on its analysis methods,antimicrobial effects,pharmacokinetic and adverse reactions were summarized.
