Preparation process of menadiol sodium diphosphate

Abstract：Obsjective: To synthesize menadiol sodium diphosphate hexahydrate. Methods: Starting from menadione, with stannous chioride dihydrate as reducing agent, the crystal powder of menadiol sodium diphosphate hexahydrate was obtained via reaction including deoxidization, hydro-lyzation, calcium salt formation and recrystalli-zation. Results: The content was 98.5% by UV. The structure was elucidated by MS,~1H-NMR,~(13)C-NMR, element-analysis and IR. The total yield was more than 72%.Conclusion: The synthesis process is simple, easily controlled and low cost. It is suitable for industrial manufacture.
