Effects and superiority of oxycodone-acetaminophen(Tylox)in the cancer pain treatment

Abstract：Cancer pain is a common, feared, but treatable component of malignancy.HoWever. to success-fully relieve the cancer pain requires a good understanding of tumor behavior,cancer therapy, pain intensity,pain type and other properties.Pain management is an integral component of comprehensive cancer care.In addition. pain therapy can interfere with or enhance cancer therapy and vice versa,and pharmacological approach is the main arm of the multi-modality treatment of cancer pain. Many studies show the compound capsule of oxycodone-acet-aminophen (Tylox) has very good analgesic effects on mild, moderate and even severe cancer pain both in the dose titration and the analgesic maintenance.In addition,Tylox has rapid analgesic onset With few and slight adverse effects. In conclusion, among two-step compounds of WHO three-step analgesic ladder,Tylox provides a new and important choice for caner pain treatment.
