The efficacy of sparfloxacin in treatment of acute bacterial infections in 60 cases

Abstract:Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of domestic sparfloxacin (SPFX) parenteral solution in treatment of acute bacterial infections.Methods:60 patients were randomly and equally divided into SPFX,open and control group.The SPFX and open group both were treated with SPFX in once daily dose of 200 mg for 5~14 days.The control group was treated with ofloxacin (OFX) parenteral solution in twice daily dose of 400 mg for 5~14 days.Results:The total effective rate and bacterial clearance rate for 40 patients in the SPFX and open group were 95% and 93.5% respectively and those for the OFX group were 80% and 88.9% respectively.Conclusion:The domestic SPFX parenteral solution is effective in treatment of acute bacterial infections.
