Abstract：Objective:To study the effect of Haizaoxiaoying granule on the absorption rate of 125I by thyroid in mice.Methods:Mice were divided to feed with Haizaoxiaoying granule(1.014,3.042,5.07g.kg-1.d-1) or KI(0.006g.kg-1) for 10d.One hour after the last dose,0.314uci/10g body weight of 125I was given to each mouse by abdominal injection and urine was collected for determination of 125I eliminated.The mice were killed respectively at 2,6，24 and 48h after injection and thyroids were collected and the absorption rate of 125I by thyroid was determined by RIA.Results:Haizaoxiaoying granule can reduce the absorption rate of 125I by thyroid and delay the peak of absorption.Conclusion:Haizaoxiaoying granule possesses inhibitory effect on thyroid function in some extent.
