Preparation of calcium gluconate gel
Abstract：Objective:To study the formulation,preparative method a nd quality control of calcium gluconate gel.Methods:Calcium gluconate gel was prepared by use of bulk calcium gluconate and disinfectant.In the gel,ca lcium gluconate and chlorhexide gluconate were determined by complexiometry and UV spectrophotometry respectively.Results and Conclusion:Calcium gluc onate gel is in need for treatment of fluoride intoxication.In this paper,a reas onable formulation and a reliable method for preparation and quality control are provided.
