Abstract：Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Longst and,a compound traditional Chinese medicine product and its effect on functions of vascular endotheliocyte and platelet of patients with cerebral infarction.Methods:60 patients with acute cerebral infarction were equally and r andomly divided to receive routine therapy or routine therapy plus three times d aily 0.4g Longstand for 21 days.Before and after treatment,the neurological func tion was evaluated,and the vascular endotheliocyte and platelet functions were m easured.Results:After Longstand treatment,the vascular endothelioc yte and platelet functions were markedly improved in addition to improvement in neurological function.Conclusion:Longstand possesses the effects o f endotheliocyte protection and platelet function improvement.
