Abstract：The safety and efficacy of antibiotics with a narrow treatment index and higher toxicity can be enhenced by practicing therapeutic d rug monitoring(TDM) and indiv idualized administration.In this paper,progress in TDM of antibacterial agents i n home and abroad was reviewed.
