Abstract：Objective:To improve Chinese Pharmcopeia method for HPLC determination of asprin and free salicylic acid in aspirin praparation.Methods:The solvent,absolut alcohol,used in ChP method was substituted by acetonitrile in which aspirin did not disociated into salicylic acid.R esults and Conclusion:A new,sensitive,precision,and reliable method suitable for HPLC determination of aspirin and free salicylic acid in aspirin pr eparation is established by the authors.
