OBSERVATION ON THE CLINICAL EFFICACY AND SIDE EFFECTS OF TIOPRONIN INJECTION IN TREATMENT OF CHRONIC VIRAL HEPATITIS
Abstract：OBJECTIVE: A clinical trial for determination of the efficacy and side effects of tiopronin in treatment of chronic viral hepatitis. METHODS:The randomized and controlled study was conducted in 180 patients with chronic hepatitis. They were divided into active group( n = 120)to receive 200 mg daily tiopronin injection, and control group( n = 60)to receive Qianglining injection. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks. RESULTS: The total effective rate of active group (68.3 % ) is significantly higher than that(46.7 % )of control group( P＜0.05)with an adverse reaction rate of 4.2 %.
