LABORATORY PREPARATION OF HOUYANQING PILLS-A COMPOUND TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE AND ITS DISSOLUTION TEST
Abstract：OBJECTIVE: A procedure for Houyanqing pills preparation and its specification were worked out and their feasibilities were studied by dissolution test. METHODS:The procedure for its preparation and method for its dissolution test were based on Chinese Pharmacopoeia 1995 and the hesperidin content in the pills was determined by a second order derivative spectrophotometer. RESULTS:The quality of Houyanqing pills prepared was in conformity with the requirements of Chinese Pharmacopoeia. CONCLUSION:Both the formula and preparation procedure for houyanqing pills studied by the authors are feasible.
