Abstract:Pulmonary venous stenosis(PVS)in children is a clinically rare but challenging disease with non-specific clinical symptoms.Chest X-rays and echocardiograms often fail to diagnose or misdiagnose PVS.Timely diagnosis through imaging studies such as CT angiography is key to treatment. The optimal treatment for PVS in children is still controversial.Surgery and transcatheter intervention are the two main clinical treatments, but restenosis is frequently seen post the procedures. With the increasing study of pathological findings and mechanisms of this disease, adjunctive drug therapies have demonstrated certain effectiveness and application prospects. This review aims to summarize the diagnostic methods and clinical treatments of PVS in children.
