Research progress of vericiguat combined withnew quadrupledrugs in the treatment of chronic heart failure

Abstract：Vericiguat is a novel soluble guanosine cyclase stimulator,which can decrease the rate of rehospitalization and cardiovascular events in patients with deteriorate heart failure and reduced ejection fraction.The latest clinical studies have shown that vericiguat could improve the clinical outcomes of patients with the use of foundational pharmacal therapy through non-neurohormonal inhibition mechanism.In this paper,we systematically reviewed the population,safety and efficacy evidence of vericiguat,and summarized the research progress on the synergic effect,aiming to provide evidence for the early initiation of"new quadruple"regimen and combination of vericiguat in HFrEF patients.
