New research progress on application of sacubitril valsartan in cardiovascular diseases

Abstract：Cardiovascular disease is a serious global public health challenge.Despite the many variety of medicines,the mortality remains high,and there is an urgent need to develop new drugs to improve patient outcomes.Sacubitril/valsartan,as a novel neuroendocrine inhibitor with highly selective inhibition of angiotensin receptor and neprilysin enzyme,has made significant progress in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.This article reviews the application and mechanism of sacubitril/valsartan in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
