Abstract:The etiology of coronary microvascular disease(CMVD)encompasses functional and/or structural abnormalities of the coronary microvessels and is strongly associated with adverse cardiovascular events.Although the current in vivo imaging technology is not yet able to directly evaluate coronary artery microvessels, with the in-depth research on CMVD and the advancement of technology,a variety of diagnosis and evaluation methods have emerged, including invasive interventional techniques,non-invasive imaging techniques and blood circulation biomarkers.Among these non-invasive imaging techniques, including nuclear medicine, ultrasound,MRI and CT,each plays an essential and unique role in diagnosing and evaluating CMVD.This article reviews the application progress of various non-invasive imaging techniques in diagnosing and evaluating CMVD.
