Abstract:Lipoprotein(a),as a low-density lipoprotein cholesterol-like particle bound to apolipoprotein a,lipoprotein(a)plays an important regulatory role in atherosclerosis, thrombosis, and inflammatory response.is an independent cardiovascular risk factor determined by genetivity, and a large number of studies have shown that this new cardiovascular disease marker is associated with the occurrence of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease and cardiovascular residual risk. This paper reviews the physiological characteristics of lipoprotein(a),the research progress on its relationship with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, and the current methods for lipoprotein(a).
