Research progress of inclisiran in cardiovascular disease

Abstract：Cardiovascular diseases represent a leading global cause of mortality,with elevated low-density lipoprotein cholesterol serving as a pivotal risk factor.Inclisiran,a novel lipid-lowering agent,has demonstrated in the ORION series of clinical trials that its combined use with statins significantly reduces the risk of cardiovascular events in patients with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease or familial hypercholesterolemia.This review comprehensively examines the mechanisms of action,therapeutic efficacy,safety profile,current research priorities,clinical applications,and future prospects of Inclisiran.
